Meet Aissatou
Supervisor
Maxine
Maxine started working in Keble in February 2001 as a Reception playground assistant and part time TA. She has worked her way up through the school and is now a HLTA with experience of working with children in Reception through to Year 4. She has various roles throughout the school, including Head of Medical and has also run the Breakfast Club at the school since 2015.
She qualified as an NNEB trained Nursery Nurse in 2005 and started her career working in various nurseries before becoming a nanny.
She lives in Enfield with her two teenage children.
Aissatou joined DAC in 2021 as a club assistant:
“I focus on what children want to do during
their time in the club.
I usually engage the children with activities
suitable for their age. They are comfortable
talking to me about anything, from what they
do at home to how their day was at school.
The children, especially the Early Years, find me
to be approachable.” Each session Aissatou
provides a great deal of support during our
homework period to our early year attendees
and for that reason she is the club Homework Hero.
Prior to joining DAC Aissatou did placements at school with reception children. The role included
keeping the class in order, reading to and with the children, taking them outside to play
and monitoring their activities.
Outside of DAC, Aissatou is an active member of PEP (Parent Engagement Panel)
a community organisation sponsored by Enfield Council which supports new mothers
and parents experiencing difficulties ranging from housing to financial challenges. She has
two sons and has lived in Enfield for over 20 years.
